Simon Mount, QC
Barrister, Bankside Chambers

Simon Mount is a barrister practising at Bankside Chambers in Auckland. From 2000-2010 he was a Crown prosecutor at Meredith Connell in Auckland. He represented the Police at the inquest into the death of the Kahui Twins, and has dealt with a number of cases of non-accidental injury in the criminal courts.

​He is a member of the Medical Council's prosecution panel and the Auckland Medico-Legal Society. He teaches in the Faculty of Law at the University of Auckland, and held a teaching fellowship at Columbia Law School in New York. He is a regular presenter at conferences on criminal prosecution and expert evidence.
